Mondays 3-5pm Eastern, Wednesdays 3-5pm Eastern and Fridays 3-5pm Eastern. Please note there are no other pickup dates or times available.

Auction House Public Business Hours
Carolina Estate Sales & Auction Services, LLC (Carolina Auctioneers) is open by appointment only, with the exception of auction day pickups. Our doors are opened on the auction pickup day for the stated pickup time of the auction.

Extended Hold Over Service
ALL ITEMS MUST BE REMOVED DURING THE SCHEDULED AUCTION PICKUP DATE AND TIMES. Extended Hold Over Storage Service Fees will Apply automatically and charged to your credit card on file listed on your Proxibid account if you do not show up for local pickup.

6% - Sales tax applied to Hammer Price

Credit Card Processing Fee
Fee For Proccessing Transaction and is based upon the final invoice total

Extended Hold Over Storage Service Defined
Maximum Hold Over will be up to 7 Days After the auction has Concluded – The 7-day time frame start, and end time is as stated: The time frame will start at the end of the auction pickup time (eastern time) at the end of the auction pickup day for the auction and will expire 5pm (Mon, Wed and Fri) the 7th day from the auction end pickup time.

If you fail to pick up your auction lots on the auction pickup day and time. 

Extended Hold Over Storage Service Automatically Begins at the end of the stated pickup date and time of the auction. Your credit card on file with Proxibid will be charged automatically for the lots on your invoice for the Extended Holdover Storage Service.

Example: Auction pickup end time Wednesday at 5pm and will end the following Wednesday at 5pm (7 days) No Exceptions and no extended hold over days allowed after the 7th extended pickup day. Your auctions item(s) will then automatically ship. Any extended holdover storage service fees charged will be applied to the storage of auction item(s). Shipping fees will be charged separately to your card on file automatically.

$8 for First Lot and $3.50 for each additional lot.

Auctions lot(s) may be picked up on these days only between 3pm – 5pm eastern time only: Monday, Wednesday and Friday. There will be no other pickup days or times.

Shipping
Local Pickup Available on all Lots and Shipping Available on Select Lots, Shipping availability Stated in Each Lot Description *** If you are not a local buyer, items will be shipped if only stated in the lot description that shipping is available. Item(s) will be shipped with our in-house shipping service. If you or someone else is picking items up on your behalf, they must comply with the stated pick-up times. Please Make sure your Proxibid account shipping to address is up to date. We ship only to the shipping address on your Proxibid account, unless you provide us with an email within 24 hours of the auction close time with another valid shipping address – no exceptions.

If your auction lot(s) are not picked up locally after the 7 days Hold Over Storage Service has expired, you the bidder agree that your items will be packed and shipped automatically by our in-house auction house shipping services.

Shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the buyer and are charged separately from the auctioned merchandise to your credit card on file with Proxibid. In house shipping (no third-party shipping fees) Carolina Estate Sales & Auction Services, LLC will prepare/ship all orders. A handling fee, materials for packing and shipping cost will be charged.

Shipping Carrier will be at the discretion of Carolina Estate Sales and Auction Services, LLC. We do not allow outside shipping labels; all shipping labels are generated in house by using our shipping services. Shipping Fees are Non-Refundable.

ALLOW 15/20 BUSINESS DAYS FOR SHIPMENT AFTER AUCTION PAYMENT AND ALL SHIPPING FEES HAVE BEEN PAID IN FULL. ANY CHANGES IN SHIPPING ADDRESS MUST BE UPDATED ON YOUR PROXIBID ACCOUNT WHEN YOU REGISTER FOR THE AUCTION.

If you DO NOT WANT IT SHIPPED and wish to forfeit your purchase, YOU MUST EMAIL THAT REQUEST to: OFFICE@CAROLINAAUCTIONEERS.COM WITHIN 24HRS OF THE AUCTION END TIME.

IN THE EVENT WE ARE UNABLE TO COLLECT SHIPPING COST THE PACKAGE(S)/AUCTION LOT(S) WILL NOT BE SHIPPED / ALL MONEY PAID FOR AUCTION ITEM/S ARE FORFEITED WITHOUT REFUND, AND ALL FUNDS PAID ARE APPLIED TO STORAGE OF AUCTION ITEM(S).

If auction lot(s) qualifies for shipping per terms and conditions of this auction, it will be done at buyer's expense and automatically charged to debit/credit card on file with Proxibid. Auction Company is NOT responsible for damaged or lost items not picked up on time even if Auction House grants permission for the buyer to pick up on a later date.

Auction Terminology

Absentee Bid

A method of bidding for those who cannot or do not wish to attend the online auction. Absentee bids are also called “Max Bids” bids may be placed by filling out and submitting an Max Bid on the particular lot within the auction online.

 

As Is Where As

Almost all property for sale at auction is offered “as is, where as” meaning that the property is sold with all existing faults and imperfections at the auction location.

 

Bid Increment

The amount by which Proxibid increases the bidding by the automated bid table established for the online auction.

 

Buyer’s Premium

The amount above the hammer price that is paid as part of the total purchase price.

 

Consignor

The owner who is transferring property to an auction house to act as agent on his or her behalf for sale.

 

MSRP Retail

Each lot is given an estimate, representing the opinion of about the range in which the lot might sell at retail. Estimates are based on the examination of an item and recent records of comparable pieces. An estimate provides prospective buyers with an important preliminary guide to value and is generally the basis for establishing the auction hammer price.

 

Hammer Price

The winning bid for a lot at auction. It is the price upon which the online hammer falls, determining the sale price, but does not include the buyer's premium.

 

Lot

An individual object or group of objects offered for sale at auction as a single unit.

 

Paddle

The number assigned to a bidder when he or she registers for the online auction. If you win the auction, your paddle number is recorded alongside your bid.

 

Reserve or Reserve Price

Never formally disclosed, the reserve price is the confidential minimum price agreed upon between the consignor and the auction house. Reserves must be set at or below the low estimate, and if bidding ends before the reserve is reached, the property will not be sold.

 

Seller’s Commission

A commission paid by the consignor to the auction house, which is deducted from the hammer price.
